Haixin was in attendance at the conference and was duly recognised for its significant
contribution to the transition to sustainable aviation fuel in the Chinese civil aviation industry.
Both Airbus and Boeing placed considerable emphasis on the pivotal
role of the SAF production industry in achieving the objectives
set out in the CORSIA initiative.
Specific attention was devoted to the HSBH (Haixin Suspended
Bed Hydrogenation) and Haixin MCT processes, which facilitate
the processing of a diverse range of feedstocks, including solid
vegetal matter, agricultural waste, and forestry waste.
This presents an opportunity to supplement the conventional feedstock
(vegetable oil, UCO, animal fat) with common cellulosic waste, which
is widely available in Asia. This will facilitate an expansion in SAF production volumes.
