Over the past few days, the energy market has once again reminded everyone of one simple reality: security of supply still matters.
Recent volatility across oil and gas markets does not change the long-term direction of travel for aviation fuels. If anything, it reinforces the need for more resilient, better integrated and more flexible industrial platforms.

Demand for aviation fuel will continue to grow, and the need for Sustainable Aviation Fuel is becoming increasingly structural. This is not only a matter of ambition anymore. It is being driven by regulation, compliance mechanisms, and the growing need for airlines, airports and fuel suppliers to secure credible decarbonization pathways.

The real question is therefore no longer whether SAF will be needed.

The real question is: who will be able to produce it reliably, at industrial scale, with the right feedstock flexibility, the right process stability, and the right execution model?

At HX Energy Labs, this is exactly the direction we have been pursuing.

We are pleased to announce that HX Energy Labs has secured operational control of a new refinery platform in Shandong, bringing our industrial development base close to the 100,000-ton scale.
Over the next 10 months, we will upgrade this refinery to integrate our most recent technologies, in partnership with Haixin. This new step is part of our broader strategy to accelerate the deployment of advanced SAF and renewable fuels solutions in China.

Our focus is not only on technology in isolation.
It is on the full industrial equation: feedstock preparation, process integration, operating stability, product flexibility, and the ability to connect industrial execution with real market demand. In today’s energy environment, resilience, flexibility and speed of execution matter more than ever. We believe the next phase of SAF development will belong to those who can combine technical credibility, industrial discipline and commercial integration.
